Per a Discord support article (archive.org), "Messages from public channels in Discoverable Servers can appear on the web", starting in December 2026.

This means that messages you send in some servers could appear in public search engines, including to people who are not members of those servers. This information can be used to stalk and harass you across multiple servers you're in, and makes it easier for anyone to automatically collect your messages, e.g. to build a profile on you or train AI.

Most users have been opted in by default. The default is "off" for anyone Discord believes to be a minor, and anyone in the EU/EEA, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and South Korea.

You can turn this off using the desktop app or website under User Settings > Data & Privacy > Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages (off). At time of writing, is no way to disable this setting from the mobile app or mobile web experience.

You should change this setting now, because it will not apply retroactively to messages sent while it was enabled.
